Download BBC iPlayer Programmes for longer than 30 days

If you find that the standard 30 days that the BBC give you to watch downloaded iPlayer TV programmes insufficient, then I recently came across a PC app that will allow you download the content and retain the programmes for as long as you want.

I don’t think there is much support for the programme but someone has made it available here:

http://www.infradead.org/get_iplayer_win/

Don’t forget that it is an unofficial programme so you use at your own risk although I’ve used it and it seems to work a treat and was recently mentioned in the Web User magazine.
