The most common issue I see in the field these days is corruption and/or hijacking of a user’s internet browser. I probably handle two or three queries a week via telephone for this issue.
The fix for this is pretty easy and involves re-setting the browser to the default settings, removing any add-ons that have crow barred their way onto the system. Unfortunately the process to do this varies for each browser. This one is for Google Chrome.
Click on reset browser
To put your home page back:
Enter the full url of the home page you want loaded (e.g.; http://www.google.co.uk )
Close the Chrome browser and then re-open it.
All being well any gremlins will now be gone!
